aspects of me — i love life: I live in Christchurch New Zealand with my partner of 27 years. Craig is not only my partner he is my best friend; friends are very important; so too are — good food & cooking; music — classical & early chamber + assorted contemporaries like Coldplay & Moby & Keane; literature — i have a master’s degree in English lit; i love reading contemporary fiction, & seeing Shakespeare & 20th century dramatists on stage or in film; computers & like gadgets; film — contemporary independent; good design, interior design; travel — Europe & NE USA, Melbourne & Sydney; theatre & modern dance; men. i guess what’s significant is the wherewithall to live life without worry. My career has been in education: i’ve taught English lit and language in high schools, been head of English and drama in those schools, moved into managing a school’s data-voice network and promoting the use of information technology in school. I am currently an advisor to secondary schools in cross-curricular literacy, and an education ICT consultant. — ross
